Godmanchester Rovers A started well and put Priory Parkside R under pressure from the kick off. By half time Godmanchester had taken the lead and were 3 goals up. In the second half, Priory came back much stronger and pulled back 2 goals and it looked like they were going to force extra time or even penalties to settle this match between two very even teams. Godmanchester managed to hold on until the final whistle, but from a spectator’s point of view, both teams were winners and deserved to be in this very entertaining Final. |
