KICK-OFF
At the
centre of the pitch to start the game and after each goal.
Opponents must be 4.5 metres away from the ball.
A goal cannot be scored directly from the start or restart.
5. THROW-INS
In normal way, Team
Leader to coach when appropriate.
6. CORNER KICKS, GOAL KICKS
Are awarded in the
normal way.
7. FREE KICKS
Under 7/8/9/10/11
Awarded in the normal way.
They are
all direct and the opposition must be at least 4.5 m away.
8.
PENALTY KICKS
Taken from 7.32 metres
from the goal line opposite the centre of the goal.
9. GOALKEEPERS
·
Distinguishable by a different colour.
·
Can handle
ball in penalty area.
·
May not
handle ball outside the penalty area.
·
Under
7/8/9/10/11 – must release ball within 6 seconds.
·
Under
7/8/9/10/11 – must roll or throw ball out.
·
Goal kicks
shall be taken from anywhere in the penalty area.
·
Under
7/8/9/10/11 – may not pick up back passes.
· Goalkeepers Under 7,8,9,10,11 must roll or throw the ball out having received the ball as a result of a shot.
NO DROP KICKS
·
If the ball goes out of play for a goal kick, then the ball MUST go out of the goal area before it is back in play. The ball must
be touched
or played by another player before the goalkeeper may play the ball
again as an outfield player.
· If the goalkeeper makes a save and decides to drop the ball in the area and dribble or kick the ball out of the area in order to
kick downfield, then as soon as the goalkeeper releases the ball, it is deemed to be in play and he may be tackled by opponents.

Compulsory.
11. CYCLING SHORTS
Must match playing
shorts at all times.
12. FOOTWEAR
Training shoes or
football boots.
13. OFFSIDE
There is no offside.
14. REFEREE
·
Home team responsible for
appointment of Referee; otherwise by agreement of both teams.
·
Where
a qualified Referee is appointed, a nominal fee of £5.00 may be paid.
·
Under
10/11 to provide a competent linesman who must be over fourteen years of
age.
15. POINTS SYSTEM
No points awarded –
non-competitive.
16. PLAYING TIMES
Saturdays – am/pm at the discretion of the Home team.
Earliest kick-off 10.00am, latest kick-off 2.00pm.
Under 7, Under 8, Under 9, Under 10 and Under 11 –
alternate weeks.
PLEASE NOTE F.A. RULE:-
Children Under 6 Years Old
(i)
A child who has not attained nor will have attained the age of six as at
midnight
on 31st August in a playing season
shall not play, and shall not be permitted or
encouraged to play, in a match of any
kind in that playing season.

To be guided through their
teams with sympathy and encouragement from Managers.
·
Allowed to play without
constant hindrance from the sidelines.
·
To be supported and applauded
for good play and behaviour.
·
Not to be criticised for
mistakes.
· To be set a good example by Adults.
·
Managers at all levels are expected to hold F.A. Level One 1st 4 Sport Coaching Certificate.
